About The Board

The Saskatchewan Labour Force Development Board is an advocate for building a learning culture in Saskatchewan.

The Board brings together the diverse perspectives of labour market partners (Business, Labour, Education & Training Providers, Agriculture, First Nations, Metis, Women, Persons With Disabilities, Racialized Canadians, Low Income People, Youth, and Government) to promote the development of effective workforce training programs that meet the needs of the individual and industry.

Each Reference Group selects their own representatives to the Board. Reference Groups provide the SLFDB with advice on labour market training issues from the perspective of their member organizations.
